About us

A real place, in the heart of Sardinia

Sorelle Carboni was born in Tonara from a family story rooted in genuine Sardinian hospitality. Here, hospitality is «the way it used to be»: homemade breakfasts made in-house, live experiences with our artisans, and the warmth of people who know this land, love it, and have chosen to live here.

The Barbagia mountains form the backdrop to the beauty this place has preserved. Our guesthouse is on via del Belvedere, in Tonara, one of the highest villages in Sardinia at 900 meters above sea level: the ideal base for exploring the Gennargentu, the thousand-year-old chestnut woods of Barbagia, and Tonara's tradition of handmade torrone.
